Kelynn Kujat is competing in her senior season at Frankenmuth High School.

What is the best part about competing in your winter sport?

The great relationships I have with my teammates

Who is your team’s biggest rival? Why?

Birch Run, they have sisters that are very talented and in our previous conference they were the only team that really made us work

What is your favorite part about completing in high school sports?

The relationships that are created.

What is your favorite sports movie?

Love and Basketball

What has your sport taught you about teamwork?

Basketball has taught me to support my other teammates. Basketball needs teamwork, both offensively and defensively. Offensively we work together by moving the ball and knowing each other’s personnel. Defensively we cover up for each other and communicate throughout the play.

Where is the toughest place to play on the road during your winter sport?

North Branch

What song are you listening to before competing to get you ready?

Alive by lil Jon, offset & 2 chainz

There is a middle school student who wishes they were you right now…what advice would you give him/her about high school athletics?

Keep grinding and putting in the work and it’ll pay off in the long run and when it really matters. Love the grind first, then love the outcome.
