What is the best part about competing in your winter sport?

The amount of fun we have as a team.

Who is your team’s biggest rival? Why?

Hemlock, they’re one of the closest schools and it’s always a good game.

What is your favorite part about completing in high school sports?

The bonds that you create throughout the season and how much fun it is.

What is your favorite sports movie?

Either The Waterboy or We Are Marshall, The Waterboy is just a funny movie and We Are Marshall is based off of a true story and it’s just really good.

What has your sport taught you about teamwork?

That everyone has to be on the same page for something to work, there can’t be any outliers.

Where is the toughest place to play on the road during your winter sport?

Hemlock, because of the rivalry.

There is a middle school student who wishers they were you right now…what advice would you give him/her about high school athletics?

Be a student first and an athlete second because without the grades you can’t compete.
