Honor roll/All conference/ NHS/ Freeland Scholars

What do you enjoy most about competing in high school sports?

The camaraderie of schoolmates becoming teammates and “school friends” becoming “Best friends”

What is your best memory from HS sports so far, and why is it meaningful to you?

My best memory of school soccer is the speech our foreign exchange student gave after our final game of the last season. The emotion he showed for not only soccer but for the team and all the relationships he made throughout the season.

What are you looking forward to most this upcoming season?

The challenge and adversity of winning the district three years in a row after losing a ridiculously talented senior class.

What’s your go to pre-game/contest meal? Where do you get it from?

Stoeffers lasagna! Team dinner

Who is your team’s biggest rival? What makes that rivalry special or different from the other teams you’ll face this season?

Swan Valley. The personal relationships that we have with most of the players on the team outside of soccer and the history our two teams have had in the past.

What is one personal and one team goal that you have for this upcoming season?

Personal and team goal is the same for me and that is to lead the team as the back line captain to a long post season run.

If you could go back in time and give yourself one piece of advice as a Freshman, what you would it be?

If I had to do it over again I would’ve played soccer right from the get go of my high school year instead of waiting for three concussions my sophomore year in football to switch me over to soccer. You have to make decisions based on what your passionate about not based on what people tell you to be passionate about.
